Designing Your Pandora Bracelet

{lang: 'en-GB'}

One of the biggest appeals with Pandora jewellery is the ability to design your own unique necklaces, bracelets and more. However with so much choice, (over 600 charms) it can be pretty easy to get carried away! I’ve put together these top tips to help you create the perfect Pandora jewellery piece!

1. Make it personal

Chose charms which say something about you, so each individual charm on your bracelet its’ own little story and is personal to you. For example, choose charms which reflect your hobbies, interests, habbits, even your favourite colour, and you’ve already got a unique Pandora chain which tells a story about you. Here is a fantastic Pandora Silver Stiletto Charm With 14k Gold for the shoe fanatic.

2. Use spacers

Spacers are basically mini charms which act to frame and emphasise your charms. These prevent your Pandora bracelet from looking cramped and clustered.

3. Use clips

Clips attach to the central screw sections on your Pandora chain, acting like a fixed charms. Clips are used to keep your charms spaced out and prevent your charms from all gathering and bunching at one end. I would suggest using two clips to begin with, and then add a third one when your bracelet is almost full.

4. Stick to one colour palette

Ok, you don’t have to stick to one colour palette, using a lot of different colours can look very nice, but you do have to be careful, as you don’t want to go overboard and make your bracelet look too busy or too OTT.

For a professional looking finish I would suggest sticking to one colour palette, using colours which complement one another. Of course it is fine to stick in the odd rogue colour with these too, but an overall “theme” will give your bracelet a nice finish.

Here’s a few combinations I think work quite nicely -

Pinks, Reds, Silvers and the occasional Gold

Greens, Golds and Oranges

Blues, Silvers and Whites

Et voila! You have got your own gorgeous Pandora chain! If your are new to the world of Pandora, then we recommend you read our Pandora Guide.
